Our CNA training program combines 75 hours of classroom learning and 100 hours of 'hands-on' training in a medical care environment to prepare students for one of the fastest growing positions in the healthcare industry. In as little as eight weeks, the 68-hour CMT training course prepares students to administer medication to long-term care patients. We also offer Insulin Administration classes, CNA/CMT instructor training and clinical supervisor training in Kansas City.
Student success is top priority at Medical Education Development & Support. Our students learn important healthcare skills including taking vital signs, infection control, restorative care, bathing and grooming, transfers, feeding and nutrition, medical record documentation, patient rights and more. When MEDS students complete their CMT/CNA training course and take the State of Missouri certification exam, they're confident in their skill set, knowledge base, and ability to perform the tasks required for their new and rewarding career as a healthcare professional.
We also offer job placement services that allow local facilities in need of qualified CNAs and CMTs to select from our pool of students, further contributing to prolonged student success. Call MEDS today at (816) 249-2956 to learn more about CMT & CNA training in Kansas City!
